The birds are chirping and the ducks are quacking around the training field as two kunoichi clash in aggression. The kunai are pushing against each other in opposite directions as the holders are staring down their respective opponents. "Are you ready to get started, Ino?" Sakura questioned with a stern tone. "Of course, I am Sakura." Ino replied with a confident tone. Both kunoichi jumped back from each other as they prepare their next move. Ino throws her kunai at Sakura as she blocks it with her, but notices a paper bomb attached to it, then the explosion occurs. Smoke appears and Sakura moves out of it before seeing three shuriken approach her left side. Sakura is able to block it with her kunai, but sees another trio of shuriken flying towards her right side and decides to duck down. Once the shuriken flew by, Sakura was able to stand up, but Ino appeared with a punch to Sakura's face as she slid back a little bit. Ino followed up with a punch to the stomach and face, before winding up her fist for a uppercut to the chin, however Sakura grabbed Ino's fist and threw her over the shoulder to the ground.
A loud thud was heard and Ino was slowly getting up from the ground and Sakura attacked her with a punch to the face and the other side as Ino stumbled back. Sakura then sent a roundhouse kick to Ino's side, but she blocked it with her wrist and slip down to do a leg sweep. Sakura fell to the ground after the sweep and saw Ino's fist about to hit her before she rolled out the way. Ino continued her launching attacks at Sakura as she dodged and blocked them one by one, then she grabbed a kunai from her pouch to counterattack. Ino saw the kunai and begun to dodge the swipes before she grabbed Sakura's wrist fighting against her strike. Ino delivered a front kick to Sakura's stomach as the kunai fell to the ground with Ino picking it up and throwing towards her, hitting her elbow. Sakura grabs her elbow and cannot focus on the pain as Ino flies in stabbing her shoulder with a kunai by strong force causing Sakura to fall to the ground.
A few seconds later Sakura's body becomes a log with explosive tags attached to it before exploding in Ino's direction. As the smoke clears, Ino is a little damaged from the explosion and Sakura shows up behind Ino with minor scratches on her.
"Oh wow! Sakura you really improved! I am surprised you were able to pull that off!" Ino said with excitement and smiled a little bit. Sakura smirked, "Thanks Ino. You are getting better too, but I have more up my sleeve." Ino dusted off any dirt on her and got into a fighting stance. "Well, we will have to see more of it then, because I am not done either." Sakura smiled at Ino and got into her fighting stance, "Same here, the warm-ups are over and it is time for the real fight."
As time passed, the two kunoichi continued to fight each other and use various jutsus to counter each other and deal some damage. However, a mysterious figure popped out of nowhere and stepped in-between their fight and repelled their moves. Sakura and Ino saw the figure and looked at each other with serious intent before the sun begun to set into the evening.
