It was a sunny day on the highways of Yorkville with cars running up and down the street while the animals and insects were roaming the area. In the middle of the highway, there was a big building called the "Weber", which was a work building that had many floors to it. The top floor had a rooftop access, the middle floors were the office area and the bottom floor was the lobby. It was a normal day for the two main characters in the office on their computers, sipping tea and working side by side each other.
"Man, I can't believe we have to work on this assignment again!" Goku said with an irritated voice. "I thought we finished it last week with no problems," continued Goku as he was typing on the keyboard. Another voice rang out with frustation, "Yeah, I agree with you on that on Goku. We had everything finished and submitted," Piccolo replied. Piccolo then took a sip of his tea and looked at his computer screen. "I got 5 more papers to fill out before I leave. How do you much do you got left, Goku?"
Goku stared at his screen with a blank expression and sipped his tea quickly before responding to Piccolo. "I got 10 more papers to fill out and I have to do accurate checks for how many clients we helped from the last two months." Piccolo responded with a thumbs up. Fifteen minutes later, their boss walks in and says hey to them, before asking them to meet in the square office within the next five minutes. Goku and Piccolo agree and look at each other with a curious expression. "What do you think is going on?" Goku said to Piccolo. "I'm not sure, but we are going to find out." Piccolo responded to Goku.
As the five minutes were up, Goku and Piccolo walked in the boss's office and sat down in the two chairs facing the front desk. The boss turns around in their chair with the name badge Dr. Bulma Briefs facing Goku and Piccolo. "Welcome gentlemen, I am glad you two are here today." Bulma said with a smile. She continued, "I called you two in today, because last week the assignment I gave you two went well except for one thing." Goku tensed up and asked, "What may that be Dr. Briefs?" Bulma looked at Goku and said, "You two almost destoryed the client's break room. Now we have to file paperwork and pay to fix it." Piccolo quickly retorted, "No, it wasn't our fault we were simply finishing our meeting and went to the break room because they had extra snacks and drinks for us." Bulma raised her eyebrows and put out a hand gesture for Piccolo to stop. "Wait, you guys had snacks and drinks in the break room?" Bulma said. Piccolo responded, "Yes Dr. Briefs because they allowed us to and they didn't mind. Then out of nowhere two guys attacked us in the break room while eating our snacks. Of course we had bring them down and defend ourselves." Goku added in, "We later found out that the client send the two guys after because they knew we would be there." Bulma was dumbfounded by the news told from Goku and Piccolo. She hadn't expect it to turn out like this, since the client they worked with over the years had no previous problems at all. "All right, well it seems you two didn't get hurt at all and the damages were minimal, so I don't mind our company paying the difference." Goku and Piccolo both nodded and felt a sense of relief from what happened and explained it to Bulma. Bulma then added, "Next time, this happens you will pay for the damages out your pocket! Do you two understand?" Goku and Piccolo were frighted for a second at the outburst and quickly said yes.
After the converstation, Bulma dismissed them both out the office and said they could leave early. They went back to their desk and collected all their items and starting packing up for the day. They shut down their computers and threw away the tea cups in the trash. Afterwards, Goku and Piccolo waved bye to Bulma and took the elevator to the lobby floor. Once the elevator door opened, they walked out the front door and down the steps to the parking lot. As they were walking, they heard a voice behind them and turned around slowly. As they turned, both of them saw familiar faces they were not expecting due to past history with one another. The two familiar faces gave a smirk when they saw Goku and Piccolo's faces. It was none other than Vegeta and Nappa.
