The morning was bright and windy as the clouds covered the sun rising from its slumber. People in the city were enjoying their weekend at a downtown amusement park filled with various activities. The activities varied from bounce houses, water slides to basket dunking contest for various heights. A multitude of activities were being conducted with lines of people crowding the areas and lines. Especially for two people waiting in a long line to enter an arcade venue, while holding their food, prizes and tickets in their hands.
"This is a very long line, I am surpurised it is packed this early." A girl said with brown hair and green eyes. "Yeah, I agree because the main event hasn't started yet." A guy with black hair and blue eyes replied to the statement. They both moved forward in line as they got closer to the arcade venue. "I agree with you Dylan. The main event is suppose to start in the evening time." The girl said. "Yeah Emma, it is mid-noon and I'm ready to have fun before the sun goes down!" Dylan said while eating his food in line. Emma and Dylan continued to move up in line until they reached the ticket caisher to give them tickets for entry. They both entered the arcade venue and played various games at multipe stations and had an intense game of ping pong. Dylan and Emma were laughing so much within the venue while playing games with other people. They were having fun from one game to the next and winning tickets to use for prizes at the exchange counter.
As they were laughing, an explosion rang outside the arcade venue. Smoke started to rise nearby the arcade venue and a smoke detector alerted the director's office. The director saw the alert on his computer and immediately told his assistant to check the cameras. "What is going on? Something must of happened out there," said the director. "It looks like an explosion happened near the arcade venue and there is smoke rising outside the arcade venue." The assistant stated and motioned the director to the camera feed. A look of shock appeared on the director's face and immediately instructed the assistant to spread the emergency message to all the staff members. The assistant nodded and pressed the send all button on their computer to alert the staff members. "Woah, what is going on? I heard a beep noise," one staff member said. "Hey, me too, an alert showed up on our work phones," another staff member replied.
Suddenly, the intercom turned on in a loud noise, "Attention all customers and staff members, please exit the arcade venue immediately!" Everyone stopped and looked at the intercom speakers as the message continued, "I repeat, all customers and staff members, please exit the arcade venue immediately, at this time." The people in the venue grabbed their stuff, while the staff members started to evacuate the customers with their emergency protocall. Many of the staff members started to filter out the customers towards the mutiple exits in the venue. Emma spoke to Dylan, "Something is up, why are we leaving all of a sudden?" Dylan grabbed their stuff and replied, "I'm not sure, but let's get out of here and find out later." Emma nodded her head and said, "Yeah."
Emma and Dylan walked out the arcade venue with other customers until they got outside. Once everybody was outside the venue, another explosion occurred and everyone was running for the exit. "Quick everybody! Go to the exits and leave the area," yelled one of the staff members. Afterwards, the staff members started telling people to evacuate the amusement park, while Emma and Dylan were next to a concession stand. "So, what are we going to do?" Emma questioned. Dylan looked around for a bit before responding, "I say we go put our stuff away and check around the area for what happened." Emma nodded and replied with a "yes", before pulling out a metal square device. She put the device on the ground and it opened up creating a storage space. Dylan and Emma put their stuff in the storage and closed back up to s small metal square. Emma put the device in her pocket, then handed Dylan a wristband with a number 2 on it. "You ready?" Emma asked. "Of course," Dyan confirmed. They both went outside the venue and started searching for clues.
